Step 2: Preferred Brands: Quality Alternatives
In Step 2 of our Stretton Step Therapy Program, we offer preferred brands as an alternative to Step 1. These brand-name medications fall within a price range higher than generics but lower than non-preferred brands. If the Step 1 lower-cost option doesn't fulfill your specific requirements, preferred brands provide an excellent choice. Non-preferred brands, categorized as "back-up drugs" in your previous plan, are limited to certain classes.

If neither the Step 1 lower-cost option nor the Step 2 preferred brands are suitable for you, you always have the option to obtain a higher-cost, non-preferred brand at a higher copayment.
